Welcome to Safe Haven Counselling!

Choosing a therapist is a deeply personal decision. Our free 15-minute consultation is a chance to ask questions, share what you’re looking for, and see if we’re the right fit.
We welcome youth (12+) adult individuals, and couples of all identities and backgrounds, and are committed to providing inclusive, affirming care. This no-pressure conversation is offered virtually and confidentially—your comfort comes first.
Individual Counselling for Adults
Supportive, heart-centered therapy for adults navigating anxiety, trauma, identity issues, relationships, divorce, grief, and life transitions. We offer an affirming space for self-exploration, healing, and personal growth—rooted in compassion and respect for your unique story.
Couples Counselling
Support for couples and partners looking to strengthen connection, improve communication, or navigate challenges. We welcome all relationship structures, including LGBTQIA2S+, non-traditional, and consensually non-monogamous partnerships. Inclusive, affirming, and heart-centered care for every kind of love.
Group Counselling
This spring, Coming Home to Yourself will be offered by our Clinical Director, Claire, as an online, closed therapy group for women who feel disconnected from themselves after years of putting others first. Many women in this group struggle with self-doubt, painful relationship patterns, or a sense that life is quietly slipping by. The group meets bi-weekly over six months and requires a full commitment. A brief intake call is required prior to registration.
Youth Counselling (12-18)
Adolescence can be a confusing and overwhelming time — for both youth and their families. Youth counselling offers a safe, non-judgmental space where young people can talk openly about what they’re going through, whether it’s stress, anxiety, depression, gender identity exploration, family conflict, self-esteem struggles, or big life changes. With the support of a caring counsellor, teens can learn healthy ways to manage emotions, strengthen relationships, and build confidence in who they are. Parents often notice that youth counselling not only helps their child cope better day-to-day, but also fosters resilience and skills that last well into adulthood.
